Dear Partners,
It has been a financially tight year for many and yet, in your struggle, you gave to this ministry. Thank you!! Please help us know how we can pray for you. Thank you for including us in your lives, not only donors but as members of the family of God.
Pillar of Legacy functions by asking the question, what does the love of God look like? We have sought to respond with various programs.
Pillar of Legacy’s team continues several programs from previous years. Food on the Table is a ministry towards the elder women, giving them chickens and food as we are able to by your gifts. Wheelchairs for Widows has provided wheelchairs for those with restricted mobility based on physical injury, limitation, or pain. The Life Awareness program works towards preventing unintended pregnancy among youths. Additionally, Jengwe Christian Church ministers to strengthen the community of believers. The Mill is still working and, though it now has competition, it still serves the community.

New this year, Cycle for Life, began with an international youth camp in July and continues to meet weekly with local youth, incorporating lessons about Jesus and his life as well as teaching skills and tricks for bicycle riding. Our highlight this year is hearing of the youths that cannot wait to be at the center every Saturday to learn, play, and grow together in a safe environment.
Also new, both men and women joined and had their first training as the sewing program started. We pray that this will become an income generating business for those who are participating.
One year ago, we drilled for water and found it on land. Since then, the center and housing has been piped and solar pumps installed. We praise God that the Well is now functional. This center now has water and electricity, the solar system was completed though we still need more solar panels and batteries. The hatchery program is on hold because of not having enough power.

Thank you for being part of our team that has made this year memorable. With all the challenges the year has brought, together we have impacted the welfare of people. We will remember how God has come through for us. As the year comes to an end, we ask that you keep praying for this work. And please pray for God’s guidance as you consider beginning to give support to this mission. If you are already supporting us, please pray about the possibility of increasing your support. The need is great. We are praying that God will bless you and provide for your needs as well.
Blessings,
