The investment of time, knowledge, and funds from people like you is vital to sustain the efforts to help the people in Chisuma Village. We appreciate the work and support given by so many. There are many ways you can help POL with the work God has assigned to us. Whether you donate to our operating budget, take on a special project, volunteer your time and energy, intern or bring a mission team, or become a part of our prayer team, you become an important partner in this effort.

How You Can Support Pillar of Legacy

Donate: Our annual budget this year is $73,850. In addition to this budget we have a special project of raising funds for vehicle replacement.  We are totally dependent on church and individual donations.  Individuals donate about 75% of our budget.  We are blessed to have faithful donors who are committed to this work in Zimbabwe. Our partnership with you is essential to achieving the goals God has set before us. If you would like to donate to the work in Zimbabwe, you may do so in one of two ways:

  • Donate via Paypal using the Donate button which appears in several places on this website, or
  • Mail checks to Pillar of Legacy, PO Box 390001, Snellville, GA 30039.
Volunteer: There are many opportunities for giving your time and energy to the work of POL.  You may want to come on a short-term mission for a week or two, intern with us for a more extended time, or volunteer to work with a committee.

  • Short-term missions:  Each year Christians come to Victoria Falls to help with everything from Bible study to planting to drilling for water.  Since we began this ministry, we have received help from groups from churches and other organizations from the United States and from several other countries.  If you want hands-on experience and can help, contact us.
  • Internships: Interns come to further their experience as missionaries.  They often have a specific interest such as working with youth, providing small business training, agriculture.  They commit to staying for a specific term of 1-12 months.  It is our hope the experience they have with us will prepare them become full-time missionaries.
Wishlist: From time to time there are specific needs for the ministry in Zimbabwe.  These range from Bible study materials to building supplies to a vehicle for transport of people and heavy loads.  Some things must be purchased here and shipped.  But because of shipping costs and duty on the items shipped, it is often more beneficial to raise money for a specific need and then let the mission team purchase the items there. If you or your group would like to raise money for a specific purpose, please contact us.  Click here to see the current wishlist.
Pray: Please pray for the staff, the projects and the people of Zambezi Valley. We depend on your prayers. We have witnessed the power of prayer many times when we presented a situation to our supporters and ask for their prayers. If you join our prayer team, you will get an email each week updating you on the activities and needs of the mission and the people of Zimbabwe. Click here to sign up.
