Our Board of Directors

Al Bingham (Chairman): Al is married to Becky Wildberger Bingham and they have one son (David). Al is an executive actuary in the health care industry; with over 30 years’ experience in senior actuarial and leadership roles. He brings financial, problem solving, healthcare financing and financial forecasting expertise. He has served on two not-for-profit boards. He is a Trustee and former Board Chair for Members of Churches of Christ for Scouting, a ministry that promotes servant leadership development and scouting as an outreach ministry. He also served on the board of a professional association. Al is an active member of North Atlanta Church of Christ, where he helps lead the youth sports outreach ministry.

Dennis Bass (Vice-Chairman): Dennis has been happily married for over 38 years and is the proud father of four children and three grandsons. He brings over 35 years of business management experience specializing in the area of materials and supply chain planning to the board team. He has always had a heart for Missions and is currently serving as a Deacon and Missions Board Chairman at Snellville Christian Church. As a member of the board, he is both honored and excited to see how God will use Pillar of Legacy to reach the people in Zimbabwe.

Linda Wright (Treasurer): Linda has always had a focus on families. Being married forty years with three children and five grandchildren, her own family is a top priority. In 1995, she established Parenting Plus, a non-profit which provided parenting classes and counseling in the Metro Atlanta area. Today she continues her focus on healthy family relationships through her psychotherapy practice. As a Christian, she has a heart for missions. Having been on mission trips, she has seen first hand the physical struggle for survival experienced by people in parts of the world. But she has also seen the hunger they have for God and a relationship with Him. She is committed to the work of Pillar of Legacy in providing both a way for families to thrive and a hope in God.

Bill Wright: Bill has a special interest in mission work. He has been to other countries teaching marriage seminars with his wife. Trained and certified as a relationship coach, he has much wisdom to offer our missionaries as they interact with the people and communities they serve. He specializes in family relationships and parenting. As a retired computer systems analyst, he will also be invaluable in keeping our communication systems working.

Mark Richardson: Mark is an ordained minister of the Word. He holds a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Ministry. He has preached the Gospel for more than 35 years. The sone of a missionary, Mark spent seven years of his childhood on the mission field in Holland and has been on mission trips in several different countries. Married for thirty-three years, Mark and his wife have two sons and three grandchildren.

Rebecca Wildberger Bingham (Becky): Becky is the wife of Al Bingham and the mother of David Bingham. They live in Johns Creek, GA. She and Al became active members of North Atlanta Church of Christ in 1989, also working for a time with the Campus Church of Christ. They were involved in the church planting of Grace Chapel Church of Christ in Cumming, GA. She graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in chemistry. Becky has a heart for children (especially teenagers) and children's ministries, having served as a nursery worker, a nursery coordinator, a preschool teacher, a Sunday school teacher, and in the children's drama ministry. She is a high school chemistry teacher at Northview High School in Fulton Country.  

Patrick Ndlovu: Patrick is a bible teacher who is passionate about seeing believers gain a deeper understanding of the word of God. Patrick loves teaching and is passionate about careful exposition and rightly dividing the word of truth, to the end that believers may be edified and God may be glorified. He has a Diploma of Biblical Studies and is an economist by training. His research has been published in a number of academic journals, but his most exciting field of inquiry is seeking after the Lord; dwelling in His presence, beholding the beauty of the Lord and inquiring in his temple (Psalm 27:4)

Samuel Lufiyele: Sam trained as a missionary in Zimbabwe, Africa. He has been a pastor and a Church Planter in Zimbabwe. He worked with YWAM and has been a youth Pastor in England, then preached in the USA and worked with several organizations. At present he resides in Canada and is a pastor of a church. He feels God wants him to be a bridge between North America and Africa. He feels that he was called to be a missionary to his own People of Africa. As one of the board members for Pillar of Legacy, he feels blessed to be able to serve and reach Africa. It is such an honor to be part of a ministry that is reaching Zimbabwe specifically. He plans to coordinate short-term mission teams to Zimbabwe and introduce many to the work Pillar of Legacy is doing. He is excited to join hands together and see what mighty things the Lord will accomplish through this ministry.

Daniel Lufiyele: Daniel was raised in Zimbabwe. He studied through Dikaia School of Theology in Cape Town, South Africa. He also studied and served as a missionary for thirteen years with Youth With A Mission. He pastored a church for two years in Idaho, USA. Daniel, having a heart to take the word to nations that restricted the spreading of the Good News, ventured outside of secure Christian circles. He worked as a missionary in China for five years. Daniel is very sensitive to the needs of others, with insightful Biblical knowledge, and he believes strongly in the concept of, ‘Disciple to Disciple others.’ He continues his journey, impacting the world near and far, one person at a time.

Amber Lufiyele: Amber was raised in Georgia, USA. She attended Harding University for 2 years and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2004. She has volunteered with Gwinnett County Child Abuse Prevention Alliance. She also taught children of divorced parents for Parenting Plus, Inc. As a college student, Amber worked with the Inner City Ministry in an effort to bring hope to the impoverished of Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as a missionary in Prague, Czech Republic in 1999. Amber has always had a heart to for international missions and is excited to see God leading her in Africa.
